Costa Maya

Our first port was at a small Mexican village called Costa Maya. There really isn't much in Costa Maya except for a launching point for visitors to see Mayan ruins, and other tours. About 5 miles away by cab is the small fishing village Mahahual. This is a really cute place with beautiful beaches, and fun restaurants and shopping. We spent the day in this small town drinking margaritas and shopping.

We all walked down the beach and met up with my Uncle Lee and another friend Russ.

My parents hanging out in the Carribean waters.

The small resort that we spent part of the day on the beach.

Becky enjoying a margarita in the wonderful weather.

Mikey looks as if he has enjoyed too many margaritas.

When we first got off the cruise ship, it started pouring, it only lasted about ten minutes, but there was no where to take shelter on the pier. Everyone kept asking me if I had been swimming, cause I got so wet.

The cute town of Costa Maya.
